Planning an event?
You have countless choices for speakers so I'm honored you would consider me. After reviewing the information on this page and throughout the website, please contact me and we can dig a little deeper into your event and how we might work together.
Throughout my career, I have been involved in countless events — small training workshops, full-day development sessions, and conferences that have lasted three, four, and even five days. And I’ve seen these events from every angle. I’ve attended them. I’ve developed the workshops. I’ve planned the conferences. And I’ve delivered countless presentations in front of crowds of all sizes.

A Little About Me
We spend over half of our awake adult life at work so we must do our jobs well. We must also like our colleagues and our work environment.
That desire to see people find success and gratification in their work is my driving passion. With success at work, it’s easier to go into the office in the morning and makes for a better home life in the evening.
I have written three books. My first one, Time Is Short, is a faith-based book dedicated to teenagers, challenging them to make a difference in the world during their teen and young-adult years.
My next two books are devoted to helping professionals find career engagement and passion. 3 + 4 Equals Success looks at the three skills and four mindsets necessary for career success. The Millennial Challenge helps Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, and Gen Xers understand and engage Millennials.
I live in Carrollton, Texas, a suburb just north of Dallas. I have been happily married to my wife, Patricia, for 30+ years. We have three sons, one daughter-in-law, and one amazing grandson (hopefully, the first of many!). When I’m not speaking or writing, I enjoy doing everything with Patricia including cooking, traveling, and watching movies.

My Most Requested Topics
While I speak on a number of different topics, most of my presentations revolve around valuing others, leadership, Millennials, and corporate culture. After meeting with you to determine your exact needs, I will customize my presentation to address your audience.
Please keep in mind that each of these topics can take on different forms. They can be presented in a keynote format or delivered as a workshop, lasting two to four hours or, in some cases, an entire day.
The Value of Others: Business is about getting things done. Getting things done requires people. But people are different and sometimes don’t get along. In this presentation, we explore why it’s sometimes difficult to work with others and the attitude and behaviors needed to build high performing organizations.
Three Keys to Leadership: Business needs effective leaders. The world needs effective leaders. During this presentation, we will examine different types of leaders, reflect on personal leadership strengths and weaknesses, review the two key characteristics of effective leaders, and even practice several key leadership skills.
The Value of Culture: No other business strategy fosters business success more than culture. Corporate culture either helps or hinders business performance. After this presentation, attendees will have a clear understanding of what corporate culture is, realize the benefits of a healthy culture, and explore steps to build and sustain positive culture change.
The Value of a Multigenerational Workforce: For the first time in history, we have four generations in the workforce. While Baby Boomers have started entering retirement, Millennials are quickly becoming the largest percentage of the workforce. In between are Gen Xers and Gen Z is just starting to enter the workforce. In this presentation, we will examine all of the generations that currently make up today’s workforce and explore how people from each generation can better understand each other, thus forming a high-performance workforce.
